Biography of Professor Mei Ling Wang

Professor Mei Ling Wang was a graduate of Shangdong University with a B.S. in Biochemistry in 1965, and in 1968 graduated with a M.S. in biochemistry also from graduate school of Shangdon University. In 1993, he was awarded with an honorary doctorate from American Academy of Environmental Science. His professional appointments at the Shangdong Academy of Medical Science include researcher, professor, deputy director, director, dean, and vice president. His other appointments include director of Jinan Haibo Biotech Research Institute, director of China Medicinal Biotech Association, director of Chinese Nutrition Society, and vice chairman of Shangdong Society of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. In 1993, he was recognized by the State Council of China for his outstanding contribution and was the recipient of its monthly stipend. In 2001, he was admitted by the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region government as a Mainland talent and worked as the technology director of Hong Kong Hon Ding International Limited. He was given permanent residency in U.S. as a distinguished scientist in 2002 and has worked as the principle scientist of T & H USA GROUP, Inc. since then.

In his five decades of working on biochemistry research and development, he has published more than 50 research articles and six books, honored 11 times for his scientific achievements at the province and ministry level in China and held 16 patents.

His current focus is on the research of water and health, with his three innovations already being put to practice in the reduction, oxidation and extensive biochemical treatment of wastewater, satisfying wastewater discharge standards even in the most challenging cases.

After spending more than 10 years researching around the world in areas known for their populations’ longevity, he synthesized Hydrogen-rich water device using nanotechnology and over 20 unique minerals and natural tourmalines he collected from the world’s five longevity regions. Such a device can generate tens of thousands of electrode pairs in the water through electrolysis and the marginally alkaline water can effectively balance the excess acidity in the human body. The abundance of negative ions produced by micro-electrolysis, with the electric potential reaching negative 400mv, works in a powerful reduction reaction to eliminate the free radicals. In addition, due to the effects of micro-electrolysis, far infrared and the magnetic field, large clusters of water molecules chains are broken down and rearranged into highly active hexagonal water to revitalize the body cells. This type of water meets the standard set by the World Health Organization, promising a bright future for the water’s broad applications. United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) has appointed him as a healthy-water expert and micro electrolysis-reduced water has officially become a UNIDO project.
